JSON-LD Schema Generator: 15 Schema Types in One Click

A JSON-LD schema generator writes the structured data that tells Google and AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini what your page is about. Paste a URL or pick a type. Get production-ready JSON-LD across 15+ schema types, validated against schema.org, pastable into any HTML head.

About the Tool

What this JSON-LD schema generator does.

A JSON-LD schema generator writes production-ready schema markup for your page. Google uses schema to decide what to show in rich results. AI assistants use schema markup to decide what to cite.

In 2026 schema markup is more valuable for Generative Engine Optimization than it is for Google rich snippets. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok all parse JSON-LD when deciding what to quote. A page with clean Organization + Service + FAQPage schema gets cited. A page with no schema markup stays invisible. This JSON-LD schema generator for SEO builds the full block, validated against schema.org, with every required field filled in. Paste a URL and we fetch the page and infer the schema from the actual content. Or pick a type (LocalBusiness, Article, Product, FAQ, Event, Review, HowTo, Course, JobPosting, and 10+ more) and we build a template you can edit before shipping.

Every output is production-ready JSON-LD schema markup. Paste it inside a `script` tag in your page `head`, test with Google Rich Results Test and Schema.org Validator, ship it. The tool handles the schema markup generation. You handle shipping. If your whole site needs schema overhaul across every page, that is what the AI SEO service is for.

Want to score 10 out of 10?

Every generation is auto-scored against Google's rich-result rules per schema type. To reach 10 across the whole site we hand-craft the entity graph, link @id refs between pages, benchmark against the schema your top-ranking competitors use, and tune for citation in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is JSON-LD schema markup?

JSON-LD (JavaScript Object Notation for Linked Data) is a JSON-based format for marking up structured data on a webpage. You paste a block inside a script tag in the HTML head. It tells Google and AI assistants exactly what the page is about: article, product, local business, recipe, event or any of 800+ schema.org types.

Which schema types does this JSON-LD schema generator support?

Organization, LocalBusiness (and 20+ subtypes like Restaurant, Dentist, LegalService), Article, NewsArticle, BlogPosting, Product, Service, FAQPage, HowTo, Event, Review, AggregateRating, BreadcrumbList, VideoObject, Person, Course, SoftwareApplication, JobPosting and Recipe. New types are added as Google and schema.org publish updates.

Should I use URL mode or manual mode in the schema generator?

URL mode is the right choice 90 percent of the time. The tool fetches the page, reads title, meta description, H1, visible content, author, publish date and any existing JSON-LD, then auto-detects which schema types fit. Use manual mode for new pages that do not exist yet, or when you want to force one specific schema type.

How is the quality score calculated?

A deterministic rulebook, not AI opinion. Each entity is scored against Google's documented required and recommended fields for its type. Required fields count for 70 percent of the per-entity score, recommended for 30 percent. Entity scores are averaged then scaled 1 to 10. Hard cap at 7 if any required field is missing anywhere.

Do I still need FAQPage and HowTo schema if Google removed the rich snippets?

Yes. Google reduced FAQ rich results to approved sites and removed HowTo rich results in 2023, but AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok) still parse FAQPage and HowTo schema heavily when answering related questions. The value shifted from search snippet to generative engine optimization (GEO).

Will Google penalize AI-generated schema markup?

No. Google penalizes schema that misrepresents the page (fake ratings, hidden content, mismatched facts), not schema that happens to be AI-written. Review every output against the real page content before publishing. If a REPLACE placeholder is left in, Google will flag the page.

How do I validate the generated JSON-LD schema?

Paste the full script tag into Google's Rich Results Test. For pure validity (not rich-result eligibility) use the Schema Markup Validator. The tool pre-validates that the inner JSON parses, but Google's test catches rich-result eligibility issues like missing required fields.

Is this JSON-LD schema generator really free?

Yes. Free, no email, no signup. We rate-limit at 5 generations per IP per day because Claude API calls cost real money. No lead gate, no retargeting pixel, no third-party trackers. For site-wide schema overhaul across hundreds of pages, that is what the Middle Mann AI SEO service covers.

Glossary

Schema terms used by the generator.

JSON-LD
A JSON-based format for marking up structured data on a webpage. Pasted inside a script tag in the HTML head, JSON-LD tells Google and AI assistants exactly what the page is about. Recommended by Google over Microdata and RDFa.
Schema.org
A collaborative, open vocabulary of entity types (Organization, LocalBusiness, Article, Product, FAQPage, HowTo and 800+ more) founded by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and Yandex. Schema.org defines the properties every type can carry and how to nest entities.
Rich results
Enhanced search listings in Google that show extra information extracted from schema markup: star ratings, prices, cook times, event dates, FAQs and more. Rich results require specific required and recommended fields per schema type as documented in Google Search Central.
Entity graph (@id references)
A network of schema entities linked via stable @id references. Instead of repeating an Organization block on every page, each page references the same Organization @id. Google and AI assistants use this graph to understand how entities on a site relate.
